Once you've installed the Magento Discussion Extension you'll find that configuration is a breeze. Simply log in to your Magento Admin Panel and navigate to System > Configuration > Commative > Discussion Module. From there you'll see you have a number of options...
General Settings
- Number of Comments - Sets the number of comments that display on each page
- Parse URLs - Makes referenced sites (like www.stuff.com) clickable links
Email Settings
- Send New Comments - Email address that receives alerts about new comments
- Email Sender - Magento-configured email address that will send emails
- Email Template Admin - Email template that will be used for sending emails to you
- Email Template Customer - Email template that will be used for sending emails to customer
Form Settings
- Guests Allowed to Post - Allows you to force customers to be registered before posting
- Message to Guests - Message guests see if you require them to be logged in to comment
